Why it works

The diagnosis step comes first so you see why the old version fails in recruiter search, not just a nicer rewrite. Requiring five headlines, each a named approach, gives you real alternatives instead of five rewordings of the same line.

"The first 2 lines must work on their own" targets how the About section actually displays: most people never click "see more". The forbidden-words list removes the phrases every profile uses, and "don't add any claim that isn't in my proof points" stops the model from inventing skills to fill out the section.

When not to use it

A headline won't fix a mismatch between your experience and your target roles; if recruiters for that role wouldn't shortlist your history, work on the gap first. It also isn't a content strategy: if you want to build an audience on LinkedIn, you need a posting plan, not a new About section.
