Why it works

Double exposure only works if the silhouette is clean, which is why the prompt asks for a side-profile photo against a plain wall and pins the silhouette to the left two-thirds of the frame. That leaves the right side and bottom for breathing room and the title.

"Follow the contours of my face" and "horizon across the neck and shoulders" tell the model how to map the landscape into the shape, rather than pasting a photo over a head.
